Early Lead For Jo Byrns Seals Fate For Yellow Jackets

Yellow Jackets fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-4 loss to Jo Byrns on Tuesday. Jo Byrns scored on a single by Caden Crawford in the first inning, a single by Taylor Head in the second inning, and a triple by Jacob Miller in the second inning.

Jo Byrns got on the board in the first inning when Crawford singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Jo Byrns scored four runs in the second inning. Jo Byrns batters contributing to the big inning included HeadCrawford, and Miller, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Crawford earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Jo Byrns. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three.

Nate Crawford took the loss for Yellow Jackets. He allowed six hits and six runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.
